About Us

Curtis

Curtis Dobush, the creator of Gemini Group, has been in residential construction for almost 25 years. After receiving his Building Construction Engineering certificate, Curtis worked in various areas of construction from sales, framing and drywalling, to Operations Management. Much of his experience is in the high end custom home business. During this time he developed strong trade relationships and communication processes that enhance the customer experience. He continues to educate himself through courses on Moisture Control, Service Excellence, Business Management and Safety certification.

Curtis believes that a renovation takes more than a qualified renovation team. It requires a company that understands your life and your style and is willing to work towards making your home a reflection of you. Our dedicated group believe in that personal touch, and our professional team of trades, suppliers and staff pride themselves in a job well done, to the end.

Dave

Dave joined the Gemini Group in 2007 bringing over 20 years of experience to our team. He started as a Site laborer for a residential builder/renovator working closely with the trades involved through various phases of construction. Upon completing a degree in business at Mount Royal, he took on a role with a high end inner city builder/renovator specializing in luxury Infill homes. He was responsible for scheduling the trades, quality control and day to day site management. From there he spent several years in a role as Site Supervisor for a large Calgary Home builder, managing both production and custom estate homes from excavation to customer turn over.
